Please Note: The Church Hall is currently closed for many activities due to Coronavirus
St. Oswald’s Community Hall is available for events and regular community activities. It is currently used by Karate Club, Slimming Group, Holiday Club, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Beavers and Cubs.
Facilities
Large Hall – high ceiling, stage and robust floor. Ideal for children’s parties, large groups and games.
Tables and chairs – 12 large folding tables and about 100 chairs. Low tables and chairs for infants.
Kitchen – usage by arrangement
Meeting room – up to 15 people. Tables, chairs, tea and coffee facilities and interactive screen
Other – secure door system and CCTV. Limited storage for regular users.
Hire
Competitive rates aimed at community activities. Regular users must comply with safeguarding policy and sign hall users’ agreement.
Children’s Parties
Excellent for children’s parties – large enough for a bouncy castle. £45 for a 2 hour party plus half an hour at each end for setting up/clearing away.
Availability
Free daytime slots on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and evening slots for Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
Accessibility
Level access but no disabled toilets or induction loop.

St. Oswald’s Hall is located at the junction of Bank Lane (B6236) and Fecitt Brow. Small onsite car park.
