It was a special moment when St. Oswald’s Church reopened after lockdown 10 a.m. this morning. The Palm Sunday service was quiet and thoughtful as people reflected on the Passion narrative.
St.Oswald’s has now begun its Holy Week services leading up to Easter, to which you are most welcome.
During Holy Week there will be a short service (15 minutes) of Night Prayer from Monday to Saturday at 9 p.m. The readings and prayers we will follow the events of Holy Week. This is a beautiful, quiet and peaceful service.
The Easter Sunday Eucharist will begin at 10am. There will be activity packs for children and Easter Eggs for everyone!
