The children on the confirmation classes were asked about how they would word the Lord’s prayer, so that it was in a language that young people could get to grips with. This is what they came up with. I think we all agree that we have some brilliant children in church. God as a superhero! Why not? Well done guys!
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father who lives in heaven, holy is your name.
When you and your kingdom come your commands will be done on earth as in heaven.
Everyday give us the food and the things we need.
Forgive us for the wrong things we do and help us to forgive others.
Make sure we are not tempted to be bad and help us to behave at all times
Do not let people influence our decisions, and lead us away from the devil,
For you are the kingdom, a superhero and glorified for ever and all eternity.
