We had a good time at our All Age Worship this morning! As usual the first half of our service consisted of 3 activites for the Confession, the Intercessions and the Sermon. Today in our Confession we were thinking about Good News (and our failure to be it). A candle surrounded by lots of sparkly things reminded us that God is love and God forgives – that’s the good news or Gospel! 
For our prayers of interecession we wrote the names of people or situations in need of God’s love onto fish shapes and hung them on a fishing net – our Gospel reading was about Jesus calling the first disciples.
For our learning activity we learned about being disciples – we learned about being learners! All kinds of people followed Jesus and became his disciples – there were lots more than 12 of them! We all got an L plate and spent some time thinking about what bits of our faith we need to learn more about.
We then celebrated Holy Communion – all this in 50 minutes!
