The cleaning group met up at 9.30am today and had an hour’s fun fighting the cobwebs, hoovering and cleaning the brasses and worktops.

The group meets for just an hour on the first Saturday each month for a relaxed time cleaning and a bit of a chat.

If you would like to get out and help out, why not come along at 9.30am on Saturday 4th September? It would be nice to meet you.

For the first time for very many years, a hedgehog has appeared in the vicarage garden. Their numbers have collapsed in recent years.

Whether this is because the lawns are 6 to 12 inches high, in line with the new wildlife style of gardening (and the mower being in the menders!) or for another reason, we are not quite sure. But it’s lovely to see whatever the reason.

The church was glowing sunset orange when we went in to set up for tomorrow’s service.
