Christmas Programme at St. Oswald’s

Wednesday 13th December 5.30-830 at the Hall: Holiday Club Christmas Party. Food, Disco, Santa – what more could you ask?

Friday 15th December 6.30-7.15 at the Hall: Community Carols. All welcome. Come along and get into the Festive Spirit.

Sunday 17th December 6.30-7.30 at Church: Carols by Candlelight. Our traditional service of carols and readings. Followed by refreshments.

Wednesday 20th December 6-7 at the Hall: Community Christingle. This is a lovely service for children. Everyone makes their own Christingle. Carols. Refreshments. There will be a collection in aid of The Children’s Society

Sunday 24th December 4 p.m: Turn Up Get a Part Nativity. Kids please come dressed as a shepherd, and angel or an animal that may have been found in the Bethlehem Stable (no crocodies please)! Plenty of costumes availabe at church so please don’t buy anything especially! This is a relaxed and fun service – like something from the Vicar of Dibley.

Sunday 24th December 6.30 p.m. First Communion of Christmas. We travel in our hearts to be with the Shepherds and Angels in the hills above Bethlehem as the Christmas Story begins to unfold.

Monday 25th December 10.30 a.m. Christmas Day Communion. We travel in our hearts to the Bethlehem Stable to join Mary, Joseph and the newly born Christ Child as Christmas Day dawns. Children, please bring some of your presents to show everyone.

Sunday 31st December 10 a.m. New Year’s Eve Communion. A reflective service for all the family as the old year draws to a close and the new year begins.
