We’ve continued to have a great time at holiday club – we’ve now moved on to Rolad Dahl animals – Fantastic Mr Fox and Esio Trot amnogst others. As well as this we’ve played loads of fun games and eaten large quantities of food. For the church members who plan and run holiday club this is a mini version of the HUGE party to which Jesus invites us all in his Kingdom: think of Holiday Club as pre-dinner nibbles!
Here are some photos from this week. Next week we’re out on a trip to Mrs. Dowson’s Farm on Monday and then back for one final day of crafts, eating and fun on Tuesday.
I’ll be away next week so I’m saying a big THANKS to everyone who’s helped out now. Thre’s an awful lot of work behind each day of holiday club – planning, shopping, food preparation, leading activities, washing up and drying – and when everyone’s gone there’s sweeping up and putting away – there was sand everywhere today!
