The Vicar welcomes pilgrims from Peover

On Thursday morning the Vicar welcomed a group of pilgrims from St Oswald’s Peover who were walking from St Oswald’s Heavenfield, North of Hadrian’s Wall, back to their own church of St Oswald Peover, near Knustford. Roger and Ged (plus a most beautiful Collie) were walking the whole way and others were joining them for parts of the journey. This morning they enjoyed a brew and biscuits at St Oswald’s before continuing on their way towards Manchester.
It was lovely to meet the group, including their Vicar, Jane, and hear  stories about their journey and about their own church. There was time to share a little about St Oswald’s Knuzden and the Oswaldtwistle locality, too.
