Anne is now on crutches and able to move around slowly, including on the stairs. It looks like she will be coming home sometime tomorrow which is great.
It has been interesting visiting the Royal Free Hospital. It is a big 12 storey 1970s building that looms over the small but busy Hamstead Heath shopping area. Next to the shops is the lower part of the Heath itself where everyone sits out in the sunshine. It’s a nice place to be if you like the bustle of people.
