We had our Harvest Festival a few weeks ago and collected goods for Blackburn Food Bank. We are very far from being a wealthy parish – in fact we’re one of the poorest in Blackburn Diocese. However, this doesn’t stop members of St. Oswald’s acting with generosity. This week we received a letter of thanks from the foodbank for giving almost 118 kg of food and toiletries -that’s 18 1/2 stone! Well done St. Oswald’s!
