On Thursday evening David was formally admitted (‘sworn in’) as churchwarden of St. Oswald’s with the other churchwardens of the Blackburn with Darwen Deanery.
The service, known as the ‘Archdeacon’s Visitation’, was held at St Bartholomew’s Church, Ewood with Archdeacon Mark and Rev’d Fleur leading. Despite social distancing and restricted numbers, it was a lovely service.
