The Holy Week and Easter Prgramme is as follows. Pleae come along to some of these services as we walk with Christ through his last days, his suffering and death, through to his resurrection, celebrated on Easter Day.
The Service is Compline is a short and very beautiful service, which touches people deeply.
This eyar we also have a simple lunch together on Maundy Thursday lunchtime – before lunch the Vicar will renew her ordination vows.
Palm Sunday 2nd April
10 a.m. Holy Communion – with Messy Sermon Group for children
and parents. Palm Crosses for everyone!
Monday 3rd April
9p.m. Compline – a short quiet, reflective service. In these services our readings follow Jesus through the events of Holy Week.
Tuesday 4th April – 9p.m. Compline
Wednesday 5th April – 9 p.m. Compline
Maundy Thursday 6th April
12.30 p.m. Simple lunch (soup and bread) – as we remember the meal Jesus had with his friends.
7 p.m. Holy Communion In this service we remember the Last Supper. After the service we strip the church. For those who wish, we then remain in silence until..

Good Friday 7th April
2 p.m. Liturgy of Good Friday – we wait at the foot of the Cross.
9p.m. Compline
Holy Saturday 8th April 10-11 a.m. We prepare the church for Easter. Please bring flowers and decorations to make the church look beautiful for Easter

Easter Day 9th April
10 a.m. Holy Communion. We celebrate the Resurrection. Includes the lighting of the Easter Candle and Easter treats for everyone!
