The gap in keeping the website up to date is because of the death of the Website Manager, David Morris. David died towards the end of August having been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in May.
Professionaly, David was a highly respected Historic Buildings Conservationist and Town Planner. He was one of the Church Wardens at St Oswald’s, and also married to the Vicar who will manage the website for now. He was also a founding member and the Chair of the Edgar Wood Society.
He died peacefully in East Lancashire Hospice. His quiet presence will be missed by many.
