Phil Carruthers and his volunteers have worked extremely hard over the past week. The hall and kitchen are now almost finished and they are well on with painting the entrance vestibule. The vestibule floor will be painted on Tuesday night and Wednesday night, when the final jobs will also be done. Thursday is clean-up day, where church volunteers are welcome to join in.
The formal handover is 11am Friday when the Mayor, local Councillors and Bishop of Burnley will attend. All interested people are invited to come, meet the volunteers and view their project.
