Last flowers of summer

We’ve had a lovely Indian summer and the cottage garden flowers at the back of the Vicarage are now just about ‘hanging on in there’. The same was true of the greenhouse which was on the verge of being derelict. This week, however, it’s been fully repaired and is looking lovely. Autumn is now definitely here but sometimes summer has been so nice, it’s difficult to let go!
