Work is progressing on the new learning room at the hall. Some of you may have noticed the green box on the wall outside. This is the heated unit for the community defibrillator, which will be completed in the next few days. Although this has been funded by the British Heart Foundation, it came as a direct result of the children in church raising £350 over last year. When asked were they would like the money to go, they said they would like it to go towards a community defib. We were very fortunate to get full funding for the defib, and all the training materials, so the money which the children raised will be donated to the BHF later in the year, when we invite someone from the BHF along to church for the presentation. Once again, a good news story involving the young people in our church!. Well done all of you.
