The Bishop of Lancaster, Bishop Geoff, joined us for our service this morning. He presented Alex with his Christian Service Award. A huge well done to Alex, not only was he put forward for the award through church, but also through school, and he was the only candidate to be awarded all three parts. Alex was considered for the award not only for the work he does within the church, but also in school, and in the community where he is a young Leader with the Beavers and Cubs, and helps with the holiday club. In school he has been prefect, head librarian,( narrowly missing out on UK pupil librarian of the year), and is always ready to help others. We are very proud of all our young people and children in the church, and Alex sets a wonderful example with his dedication and attitude. Well done Alex!
