‘Bring Your Memories’ Event

The ‘Bring Your Memories’ event with Stanhill Heritage Group was well attended. People enjoyed themselves relaxing and chatting about times gone by and local history while David Disley gave demonstrations and a talk on James Hargreaves’s historic Spinning Jenny. Cakes and cups of tea flowed from the kitchen courtesy of the St. Oswald’s Mothers Union! It was a lovely day…

We were pleased that the weather was dry after all the rain last night. It was an enjoyable guided walk around the new Stanhill Heritage Trail in the morning, led by Andy Barnes and David Morris.
